Colorado’s 74th General Assembly convened on January 10th and will close on May 8th, 2024. The legislative leadership and Governor Polis all announced concerns about housing and housing affordability – among other issues. This means (and we already anticipated) that community associations will be under the microscope. Additionally, your Colorado Legislative Action Committee (CLAC) is working on issues from 2023 and 2022 including the aftermath of 1137’s foreclosure and covenant enforcement language, the HOA Task Force, and much more.
Join us at the February luncheon to learn about of-the-moment legislative issues and how you can contribute toward our efforts to improve HOA optics, educate lawmakers, and serve as a resource to bureaucrats seeking answers about community associations.
